Pearl M. Jones to be Profiled in Exclusive Registry
Pearl M. Jones celebrates over 10 years in Human Resources and Not-for Profit Management
NEW YORK, NY June 30, 2009 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Pearl M. Jones, Diversity and Inclusion Director for Local Initiatives Support Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in Human Resources and Non-Profit Management.
Ms. Jones is currently the Diversity & Inclusion Director at Location Initiatives Support Corporation, a nonprofit organization that has a mission to transform neighborhoods into healthy and sustainable communities. Her expertise in Human Resources and Non-Profit Management is being put to use in her role as staff to LISC's Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She has responsibility for implementing activities in support of the business objectives created by the Committee. This includes identifying opportunities to increase underrepresented groups at the Program Officer level and above, coordinating On-Boarding and Mentoring Programs, facilitating activities related to promoting diversity & inclusion throughout the organization; identifying and disseminating best practices related to Diversity & Inclusion, insuring that diversity recruitment goals are met and coordinating learning activities related to leadership and general employee development.
Ms. Jones holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from New School University and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from New York University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, the Human Resources Association of New York, the Alliance for Non-Profit Management, Human Capital Institute, AIRS Diversity Recruitment Forum and Diversity A World of Change. In the future she would like to gain more expertise in the field of diversity and inclusion, particularly in the realm of diversity education.
